Today was my first day working at the biochemistry lab. It started off with some orientation along with unnecessary information like lab safety. I get the pleasure of replacing the current lab tech along with her duties until she gets back. These include: cleaning dishware, racking pipettes tips, sterilizing dishware in the autoclaver, making buffers and making media. The good thing is that during this time they'll also be slowly bringing me along so by the time she does come back, I'll be able to focus on research (at least this is what they tell me hehe).

Now I just need to decide whether or not I want to move into my new place (pics to come) during the summer as I really don't want to pay for groceries/cook for myself just yet.
