Saviour

Well, it's been a while. Summer's flown by. I can't believe that was four months. In any case, this summer was undoubtedly the best of my life. I got visit my grandparents in Taiwan for a whole month and then started working at a lab. I don't think calling it work is fair though. My group of friends at home really came together this summer and that doesn't surprise me a single bit, given the summer we've had. It just sucks that everyone's back at their respective schools and realistically the next time we'll all be back together is in December, even then it's a reach given different families' vacation plans.

In two weeks the grind'll start again. It's weird, this time I'm really, really looking forward to it. I'm heading into my third year and I've got this feeling that tells me I've got to start growing up and becoming more mature. I'm renting off campus and payin' all the bills to the best of my ability. I'm trying to become more of a leader and mentor, something I think which is expected of me.

There's just so much to be excited about...endless possibilities and opportunities in the coming 8 months. Inevitably there'll be ups and downs but my main focus this year is to make the downs as up as possible and the ups as up as possible.

This is gonna be a killer year and I am so stoked for it.
